In particular, the delegation held in-depth discussions with several potential partners regarding the planned AI education programs and VR/AR training facilities. They also intensively explored cutting-edge drone and aviation technologies that could be linked to the university’s aerospace initiatives.

The innovative technologies confirmed during this visit — including smart healthcare solutions, drone and urban air mobility (UAM) technologies, AI education platforms, and VR/AR training systems — are expected to provide important insights for implementing Cheju Halla University’s RISE project.

Cheju Halla University noted, “We plan to actively incorporate the technology innovation trends identified at CES 2025 into our university’s innovation roadmap. In particular, we intend to contribute to building a regional innovation ecosystem through collaboration with Jeju-based startups.”

Korean startups expressed hope that “Cheju Halla University’s RISE project will lead technological innovation in the Jeju region,” adding that they look forward to achieving innovative technological advances through continued close cooperation.
