Cheju Halla University Discusses 2025 Winter Short-Term Program with UNLV
Cheju Halla University visited the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) to discuss arrangements for a 2025 Winter Short-Term Program running from January 26 to February 22, 2025.

The visit finalized details for a four-week intensive program at UNLV’s College of Engineering. The program offers students the opportunity to experience world-class engineering education through hands-on, practice-oriented courses in cutting-edge fields such as IoT, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

UNLV’s state-of-the-art makerspace and engineering laboratories are expected to provide students with genuine field experience. In particular, a curriculum that balances theoretical coursework with practical projects is anticipated to significantly strengthen students’ applied competencies.

Beyond professional engineering education, the program also includes cultural activities such as a two-day excursion to US national parks including the Grand Canyon, offering students a comprehensive learning experience that combines technical training with cultural immersion.
Cheju Halla University noted, “This partnership with UNLV’s College of Engineering aligns perfectly with our university’s RISE project goals, and we are delighted to provide our students with an unforgettable international learning experience.”
UNLV expressed that they are “honored to prepare a tailored program for Cheju Halla University students and look forward to welcoming the first cohort this winter.”
Students interested in the winter short-term study abroad program may contact the Department of Artificial Intelligence office for more information.
