Students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Cheju Halla University achieved outstanding results at the 2024 Semester 1 CLASS-UP Competition under the ‘Local Government-University Cooperation-Based Regional Innovation Project.’
At the competition held at Maison Glad Jeju on July 2, our department’s students earned top scores, demonstrating their deep understanding of AI technology and creative application skills.

These awards are the result of our department’s students receiving external recognition for their AI technology capabilities and innovative problem-solving abilities. Significance of the Competition
The CLASS-UP Competition is a venue where students from diverse majors participate to present and compete with knowledge from their areas of specialization. Through this competition, our department’s students gained valuable experience in:

Future Development
The award-winning students have earned priority participation in various extracurricular programs offered by the Jeju Regional Innovation Platform Intelligent Services Business Division during the summer vacation. Through this, they are expected to:

- Gain experience in the global AI ecosystem
The Department of Artificial Intelligence plans to continue providing sustained support and innovative education programs so that students can grow into leading talents in the AI field, building on these achievements.
