Collaboration Discussions Between Cheju Halla University and UNLV Department of Computer Science

On the 10th, Cheju Halla University visited the United States to pursue collaboration with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). This visit was conducted with the aim of fostering faculty and student exchanges and joint academic research between the two universities.

The two universities discussed efforts for faculty and student exchanges and joint academic research, with focused discussion on measures for sustained exchange. A variety of programs were covered in the discussions, including a hands-on exchange student program, advancement of a dual degree system for undergraduate programs, and short-term programs of four and six weeks.

These collaboration discussions will serve as an important foundation for strengthening academic exchange between Cheju Halla University and UNLV, and for providing new educational and research opportunities for students and faculty at both institutions. This kind of international cooperation is expected to make a significant contribution to enhancing the global competitiveness of both universities.
